Library Collections at the Regional Campuses
Each of the University's five regional campuses-Avery Point, Stamford, Torrington, Waterbury, and West Hartford-maintains a library dedicated to serving the academic programs in those communities.
The libraries at Storrs and the libraries at the regional campuses share a single catalog and form a single distributed collection; each library unit serves as a full gateway to the entire collection. Physical materials and copies of articles and chapters are quickly delivered from point to point in response to user need.
All of the UConn Libraries benefit from the joint collecting of online networked resources, including electronic research databases, e-journals, e-books, full text reference tools and full text primary source materials. These extensive networked resources are easily accessible by all members of the University community regardless of campus location.
Torrington
The collection at the Torrington Regional Campus Library is developed to meet the academic needs of the faculty and students attending classes at the Torrington campus. The Torrington collection focuses upon undergraduate studies in the humanities and social sciences. As a Tri-Campus partner, with Waterbury and West Hartford, the library also supports the Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Technology and the Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban and Community Studies.
