There are many more books in the Music & Dramatic Arts Library and Babbidge Library. To find them, try one of these searches in HOMER (the library catalog):

Option 1:

1. For type of search, click Subject Heading.
2. Under search terms, type voice. (Also try larynx or laryngeal.)
3. Browse the resulting subject lists, including Voice Care and Hygiene, Culture, Disorders, Physiology, Physiological Aspects, Training, etc.

Option 2:

1. For type of search, click Keyword.
2. Under search terms, type the key words you know.
3. Tip: try some of the terms from Option 1.

Examples:
voice disorders   (finds books, journals, and videos about voice disorders)
voice culture
voice physiolog? (finds physiological, physiology, etc.)
voice training

If you get too much "junk," try a KEYWORD BOOLEAN search and add skey. Example: skey voice and skey disorders. (Skey stands for subject keyword. It focuses your results.)

  Dedicated to voice medicine, science, and education. Especially see the Voice Problems (under the Voice Information link), which includes information from established voice experts and surgeons about voice function, maladies, and treatments.


• Voiceproblem.org: The Voice Problem Website
  Non-profit educational foundation funded through private sources. The site includes medical information prepared by voice surgeons, including anatomy/physiology, disorders, and diagnosis/treatment/prevention.
