Drama

Music Library Reference PN 2052 .C38 2001, Chapter 11 ("Copyright Law for Theatre"), pp. 191-215. Explains basic copyright concepts as they relate to theatre and provides dozens of relevant URLs.

• Getting Permissions (from UT Austin's Crash Course in Copyright)

  "Assuming the work you wish to use is protected, your use is not a fair use or otherwise exempt from liability for infringement, and the work has not been licensed for your use online, you need permission. Now what?" Gives an overview of organizations and next steps. Includes music, plays, images, etc.
