ABI/Inform contains abstracts of articles from approximately 2500 international journals covering business and management and related functional areas.
Academic Search Premier a multidisciplinary magazine & journal database that provides the full text of over 4,500 journals and magazines, and indexes a total of more than 8,000 titles in all disciplines.
Business & Company Resource Center brings together a wide variety of global business information, enabling users to efficiently research business case studies, competitive intelligence, and career and investment opportunities.
EconLit is the fundamental research tool in economics and includes regional and urban economics.
Hein Online
legal journal collection contains nearly 600 journals in a searchable electronic format, including 117 international legal journals in the English language.
InfoTrac
includes nearly 3,000 full-text titles; five newspaper indexes -- a total of more than 6,000 titles in all with 20 years of backfile coverage.
Issues @ Controversies@ Facts.com provides up-to-date, in-depth and objective information on current topics, combining objective analysis and clear explanations of opposing points of view.
JSTOR provides digitized backfiles of core scholarly journals in academic fields, beginning with the first issue up to a moving wall of 2- to 5-years.
LexisNexis Academic provides access to the full text of thousands of publications, including national and international newspapers.
PAIS International from Public Affairs Information Service, is an important index to political, economic, and social issues in current debate.
Science Direct information service for the interdisciplinary research needs of academic, corporate and educational institutions, offering comprehensive coverage of literature across all fields of science.
Social Sciences Citation Index provides author, keyword, and citation searching in social science journals.
Sociological Abstracts provides access to the latest worldwide findings in theoretical and applied sociology, social science, and policy science.

Electronic Journal Locator (eCompass) The University of Connecticut Libraries purchases access to over 10,000 journals, online and in full text, through various databases and commercial online journal providers. eCompass can be used to determine if a title is available through one or more of the Libraries' electronic resources, and to connect to the database or online journal directly.

iPOLL is the most comprehensive, up-to-date source for US nationwide public opinion available today. A full-text retrieval system, the iPOLL online database is organized at the question-level, providing the tools to sift through nearly a half million questions asked on national public opinion surveys since 1935 and updated daily.

General Accounting Office (GAO), commonly called the investigative arm of Congress or the congressional watchdog, is independent and nonpartisan. It studies how the federal government spends taxpayer dollars.
